REBOUND WEEKEND FOR RETURNING OUTBOUND STUDENTS

Overview for Returning Outbound 2024-2025 Students and Parents
Last fall the District 5080 Youth Exchange Committee decided to hold a separate camp meeting for our returning outbound students which will include parents. This will allow us to focus on your exchange and allow parents to participate in the debrief of your past year.
The weekend event will be held at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. We will have access to a conference room, dorm rooms for students and parents who wish to stay on campus, and their student dining hall. Housing will be at the Birch Apartments. Campus Map
Attendance by students is mandatory. Parent attendance is optional.
Students and District staff will be staying on site during the retreat. Parents can either stay on site or stay at a local hotel. The University has a listing of cooperating hotels which have reduced rates for Gonzaga events.

Parking
There is free parking available at the dorm that we have you assigned to (Burch Apartments). At the Hemmingson Center, we have a parking garage directly across the way from us that also houses the ZagShop. We are also more than welcome to utilize that area to park in.
The Campus Security Team does not ticket during the summer, so you should be able to park for free in any lot other than the red lots (reserved for Faculty/Staff).
What to bring
Sleeping bag, water bottle, pillow, towel, appropriate summer clothing, jacket, YE Blazer, Flag, walking shoes, toiletries.
On Campus Housing
We will be staying in the Burch Apartments. Each apartment has two rooms along with a small living room and kitchenette. The rooms themselves are double occupancy, so we can totally double up the youth and then give the adults their own rooms (though we will probably have them share apartments).
